RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA – (September 16, 2020) – JDXpert (HRTMS Inc.) announces Andrew Ellerhorst as the next president and CEO. He will assume the leadership position previously held by Mitch Stephens. Stephens, founder of JDXpert, will now focus on product development as VP of Technology and act in an advisory capacity on company matters.

“It resembles dropping your kid off at college,” says Stephens as he reflects on the transition. “I am extremely proud of what our team has been able to accomplish over the past decade but know that for us to continue to bring innovative HR solutions to market, we need a strong partner. I, along with the entire JDXpert team, am confident that Andrew is the right person to build on what we’ve created and am excited to see where we go next.”

“I am humbled and honored by Mitch and the team’s confidence. When you find an opportunity like this, you jump on it,” Ellerhorst says. “When I originally found JDXpert, and spoke with Mitch, it was hard for me to believe that job descriptions necessitated such a comprehensive solution. However, the more I learned, the more I believed. Mitch, along with co-founder Don Berman, and their team have created a customer-centric solution and a company anyone would be proud of. We have an exceptionally talented team at JDXpert and I fully believe we’ve just scratched the surface of what we are capable of doing. Our customers, partners, colleagues, and stakeholders will continue to be our primary focus as we move forward.”

Before joining JDXpert, Ellerhorst was the founder and managing partner of KeelBoat Capital, an investment entity formed for the sole purpose of finding and investing in one great company. Prior to KeelBoat, Ellerhorst worked for more than seven years at GE. He held several roles across multiple functions (finance and product management), helping to deliver results in highly competitive markets. Ellerhorst holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. Ellerhorst and his wife Danielle recently moved to Raleigh, from Pittsburgh and have one daughter. They are expecting their second child in January 2021.
